In the afternoon of Oct 9, International Campus Security and Stability Working Conference was convened in Room 522, Arts & Science Building. Mr. Fu Qiang, the Assistant President of ZJU, Secretary of Party Working Committee of International Campus, ZJU, Vice Dean of International Campus, ZJU made a conclusion speech on campus security and stability work at current stage, and made a strategic plan for the next stage. Directors of all the departments, deans of the institutes, and managers from campus service companies all attended the conference.

The conference delivered the campus security and stability working spirit of ZJU. Campus departments, including Office of Campus Development and Management, Office of Student Affairs, Office of Academic Affairs, Library and Information Center, Preparatory Office for the School of Liberal Arts, reported the situation of checking and rectifying work on the potential security and stability hazards before the National Day Holiday.

Mr. Fu Qiang pointed that all the departments and institutes focused on the development goal of “safe campus” and stuck to the principle of “Safety First, Prevention First” under the campus party’s correct leadership, did a great job on maintaining the campus security and stability.

As for the next stage of campus security and stability, Mr. Fu Qiang made three requests: Firstly, to pay high attention and to maintain the campus security and stability with the highest standard, strictest demand, and strongest measures; Secondly, to clarify the responsibilities into individuals; Thirdly, to keep ringing the alarm bell in mind, and to check the potential security hazards regularly, occasionally, specifically, and randomly. Make sure to execute the information reporting policy strictly and reply to all the emergencies timely.
