The procedure of adding an internship note on residence permit is as follows.
* Get an offer letter
Students have to provide Office of International Student Affairs with an offer letter from the prospective employer. Students need to share a copy with their program coordinator/academic advisor. Please indicate the following before submitting:
a. The specific start and end date for internship
b. The physical location of where the internship will be conducted, including province, city, street address and ZIP code.
c. A description, as detailed as possible, of the duties entailed in internship.
d. Contact person, email address, telephone number and an official seal of of the prospective employer.
* Download and fill out the Application Form for Off-campus Internship/Practice for International Students of Zhejiang University
The electronic form could be accessed at Office of International Student Affairs.
* Contact program coordinator and get the written consent on the form
In order to be granted the authorization, student’s academic program coordinator has to certify that the off-campus experience is integral to the curriculum and fulfill requirements of student’s program of study.
* Submit the application form to Office of International Student Affairs.
Office of International Student Affairs will review the application and send a confirmation letter to the prospective employer. Normally, Office of International Student Affairs will inform students whether the application is approved or not within one week.
* Bring all materials (Offer Letter, Application Form for Off-campus Internship/Practice for International Students of Zhejiang University, Confirmation Letter between OISA and the Potential Employer, Notification letter issued by OISA, Application Letter for Residence Permit/Visa issued by OISA and Passport) to Entry and Exit Administration Department of Haining Public Security Bureau.
