The staff apartment service team has made fully preparation for the blueberry picking, one of ‘Fabulous after eight-hour’ activities, to close to nature and enjoy the country yard as well as increase interaction among the faculties living in Staff Apartments.

     It was a mild sunny afternoon on June 2. With a medicine cabinet, bottle water and snacks, 25 teachers both domestic and overseas arrived at the blueberry orchard in a small town of Dingqiao, experienced the fun of blueberry picking. All sitting around, chatting, being indulged in nature, received a hospitality from the local people and enjoyed the local culture.

     All the participants walked the way along the centenary historical road in Baili Qiantang River, and visited the Liangjiadun, one of provincial administration villages with southern town’s features of white-wall and black-tile, which had attracted the foreign professors. They enjoyed themselves so much for the simple honest people, pleasant scenery alongside the river, and the local leisure lifestyle.

     This activity was hailed for it brought much cheerfulness and closed distance between faculties and the service team. Please stay toned for the next ‘Fabulous after eight-hour’ activity.
