To give new students a comprehensive introduction on campus service, Office of Campus Development and Management (CDM), together with Library and Information Center (LIC) held a meeting to present campus logistics service and library service to the freshmen on Aug 18. Additionally, CDM, together with Institute of China Studies held another campus service introduction meeting to International students on Sep 13.
In the evening of Aug 18, CDM and LIC held a meeting in the Lecture Hall of Learning and Teaching Building North A to introduce various aspects of campus service to freshmen. The campus operation specialist from CDM introduced the logistics service to the students in details, including catering service, medical service, campus shuttle service, visiting vehicle service, commercial street and Haining city life. The faculty from LIC presented library services and IT services to the new students. After the introduction section, students started to ask questions about campus service and campus life, most questions were solved by the faculty and staff in attendance. At the end of the meeting, the director of CDM, Ms. Qu Lijuan made a conclusion talk and gave best wishes to the freshmen, hoping them to enjoy a great time in International Campus.
CDM held another campus service introduction talk with the Institute of China Studies on Sep 13 for International students. Besides the logistics service introduction from CDM, Year 2 students from Master in China studies also shared their experience in International Campus, in Haining and in China. The two campus service introduction sessions allow new students to have a better understanding of the overall situation of International Campus, facilitate the process to students to settle in more quickly in this new environment.
