To effectively enhance campus safety and stability at the end of the year and the beginning of the new year, and to improve campus safety prevention capabilities, Zhejiang University International Campus, in accordance with the requirements of the Jiaxing City meeting, jointly conducted an anti-vehicle Intrusion emergency drill with the Xiasi Police Station, Haining Special Police Team, and PTU Mobile Squad.

At 3:00 PM on December 19, at the south gate of International Campus, the drill commenced with a command from the chief commander.

During the drill, two special police officers acted as "criminals" attempting to illegally enter the campus, clashing with security personnel during the identity verification process and threatening to take extreme actions. In response to the conflict, the security team immediately reported the incident, deployed a tire deflation device to stop the vehicle, and cooperated with the arriving PTU Mobile Squad to prevent one "criminal" from entering the campus. Meanwhile, with the support of the special police, they closely collaborated with the police officers to encircle and subdue another knife-wielding "criminal" who had entered the campus.

This drill is an important measure for International Campus to implement the requirements of a safe campus and to strengthen campus safety awareness. Through practical drills, the campus security forces have been trained, and their professional capabilities and emergency response abilities have been enhanced, laying a solid foundation for creating a safe campus. We will continue to strengthen safety education and drills to ensure a safe and stable campus environment.
