Logistics services supporting meeting, participated by Mr. Fu Qiang, the Assistant President of ZJU, Secretary of Party Working Committee of International Campus, ZJU, Vice Dean of International Campus, ZJU, members of Office of Campus Development and Management(CDM), management of service companies, including Campus Service Center, Campus Dinning Center, Serviced Apartment Center and Campus Clinic, and Mr. Lin Xuchang, General manager from Logistics Group, ZJU, and the representative of Haining Police Station in International Campus, ZJU, was organized on 11 September, 2017 .
With the focus on the theme of the meeting: “Review the Past for an Intelligent and Green Future Campus”, the management of CDM and service companies reported the working results in respective parts, including campus comprehensive operation service, safety and health, and campus construction and facility management in the previous year, and discussed working plans, existing problems and solutions for the next year. Around the topic “Intelligence and Green”, Proposals and possibilities of contributions to the development of International Campus from different parts, including construction and management, cultural climate, sustainable talent cultivation, and information-based logistics construction were presented and discussed.
The meeting has discussed topics around building a people-oriented campus logistics services system, a new model of service relationship between campus and service companies, and a future campus of intelligence and sustainability during two discussion sessions.
Mr. Fuqiang spoke highly of CDM for its efforts and results for the campus construction and operation of last year. He said this meeting was not only the review of the previous year, but also a new start to unify the understanding for the service concept of teachers and students first. He analyzed the role of logistics supporting services played with regard to pushing forward the development of International Campus in the background both in state and university. He also pointed out that the vital opportunities for both in external and internal development, and hoped to deepen the service concept of teachers and students first, sum up experience, focus on key areas, and improve the service quality and to explore new patterns and methods of logistics services for campus internationalization. The logistics services team was asked for meeting the requirements for campus internal development, playing a significant part in the campus competitiveness, breaking through the bottleneck of running International Campus in Haining which is off the main campus in Hangzhou, promoting innovation and new mechanism, making efforts and achievements by exploring an operation pattern with International Campus characteristics in the future.
