Professor Fu Qiang, Assistant President of ZJU, Secretary of Party Working Committee and Vice Dean of International Campus, ZJU and other administrators conducted a security inspection on International Campus before the winter vacation.

This inspection covers campus safety on all sides, including fire, electricity, gas, housing, laboratories, facilities, food and drinking water safety, and potential hazards. Efforts are mostly focused on Fire Control Center, information rooms, Residential College No. 1 and 2, Laboratory Building, ZJE Building, boiler rooms, domestic water pump rooms, canteen and other crowded places and key sites. Prof. Fu clarified that the remaining problems should be solved within a limited period and requested relevant departments to implement the safety rectification.

Prof. Fu made a summary and stressed four points after the inspection: perfect the security regulation system by strengthening organization and implementing security responsibilities gradationally; create a fully participated situation through safety knowledge publicity and professional trainings; put emphasis on security facility update to improve technical protection skills; notify incidents timely to serve as an alert.
