At the beginning of the new year, a special employee of Campus Service Center already has been buried himself in his own work. This newcomer is an indefatigable cleaner who is now struggling for a better campus environment with his various professional skills such as sweeping，mopping and polishing.
This is the robot sweeper newly introduced to Campus Service Center. As it shows below, it is a cylindrical machine with a white look. Thus, it also has a nickname, Little Bai (Xiao Bai).
The robot sweeper has three main modes: sweeping, washing and marble polishing. It is easy to operate, and it has a long standby time. After the improvement and adjustment，the maps of North Classroom Building A/B and Liberal Arts and Sciences Building have been imputed into the system. Little Bai is now serving as a key player of cleaning work in these buildings and its lovely shape and quick reactivity also attracted a wide attention of students.
According to the staff, due to the noise of washing process, this mode will only be used in the evening or break time to keep the influence into minimum. What’s more, this robot sweeper is going to be equipped with charging piles later with which the robot can charge automatically and work round the clock.
The technician will continue improving the working routes in the following months. As the technology matures, the "robot" will serve in more plat areas such as gymnasium, which can not only improve the efficiency of ground cleaning, but also liberate a certain of labor into the special cleaning work requires for elaborate operation. Thereby, it will further improve the environmental quality of the International Campus.
