Dear faculty and staff:

In order to do a better job about the medical security for the children of faculty & staff in International Campus (hereinafter referred to as the "campus"), in accordance with the relevant regulations of the "Management Measures about Medical Security for Children of Faculty & staff in Zhejiang University" and in combination with the actual conditions of the campus, the relevant matters are now notified as follows:

1. From January 1, 2020, the children of faculty & staff (including foreign nationals) who was involved in campus faculty & staff formal list can enjoy the medicaid on the campus.

2. Faculty & staff who need to apply for Medicaid must have the children's medical insurance in Hangzhou or Haining at first according to relevant regulations.

3. If the children's medical insurance has been handled successfully, faculty & staff can bring the “Certificate of Almanac” and proof of the relationship between the parents and their children (such as a birth certificate), then go to the school hospital to complete the registration and confirmation procedures. The medical assistance will be effective from the next day of registration and confirmation, there is no retroactive childcare medical expenses incurred before registration and confirmation.

4. The children of faculty & staff who hold the “Certificate of Almanac” and the citizen card, when get medical assistance at the designated medical institutions (except designated retail pharmacies)  in accordance with the medical insurance payment scope of individual pay part, the campus will provide subsidy with a rate of 80% of the individual payment.

5. Medical assistance for children of faculty & staff is provided once a year and medical assistance in the natural year is centralized from January 1 to March 31 of the following year. Faculty & staff must bring the “ Certificate of Almanac”, the original valid medical bills settled by the children's medical insurance, settlement list, discharge summary and other materials to go to the school hospital to go through the subsidy procedures.
