A fire and emergency evacuation drill will be held at No. 2 Residential College on Nov. 20, 2020 to improve fire safety knowledge, and improve fire escape skills of teachers and students at the request of “Notice on Launching a Series of the Winter Fire Fighting Activities in 2020”. To ensure the exercise goes safely and smoothly, the details are as follows:

1. Time: 16:15-16:50, Nov. 20, 2020

2. Location: No. 2 Residential College

· Participants

1. Undergraduate and graduate students of 2020

2. New faculty and staff members in 2020

3. Everyone at No.2 Residential College at that time

4. All members of the International Campus Volunteer Fire Brigade

5. Certain employees of logistics service units

· Content

1. Emergency commands, fire extinguishing procedures, and evacuation

2. Fire extinguishing and rescue method demonstration

3. Activity summary and review

· Requirements and Precautions

1. All participating departments are required to organize and carry out the exercise in detail to enable the participants to clearly understand related tasks and be familiar with the evacuation route.

2. All personnel must follow the instructions of the emergency commander throughout the drill. Don’t rush during the exercise to prevent collisions or falls.

3. The elevator will be closed during the exercise. Evacuate according to the pre-arranged route, the right side of the stairs.

4. Prepare in advance for power outages in an emergency, and remember to protect your valuables.

5. Building fire alarms and the broadcast system will be activated before the drill starts. Don’t panic and do not call the fire alarm “119”. Please evacuate quickly following the evacuation procedure.

Relevant departments are required to organize the activity. Please prepare in advance and participate in this event on time.
